Ms. Samarathunge specializes in voice training here at Amarillo. She holds a Bachelor’s (special) degree in Performing Arts from the University of Visual and Performing Arts Colombo 07. She also happens to belong to the very first batch of graduates in western music in Sri Lanka.

Her talent and skill has been polished by veterans such as Ms. Natalie Gunarathne, Ms. Prashasthi Navarathne, Ms. Naomi Gunarathne and Ms. Priyashali Yapa. She is also a member of ‘Evolution’ and the ‘Kemadasa Foundation’. She has performed with Voice Spring and the De Lanerolle brothers and Soul Sounds. She also took part in the I.W.M.S (Institute of Western Music and Speech) choir contest in 2010 and won. Apart from voice training Ms. Samarathunge plays piano and violin.
